Now rewind. South Carolina takes the first step and leaves the Union. Mississippi follows. Not much else has happened. You, however, have the power to make things happen and rewrite history.
Welcome to the most grueling committee at this conference.
On one side, the Union is empowered by numbers and resources but bogged down by internal divisions. Enter the Confederates, borne on a wave of change but slowed by scarcity and lack of manpower.
A plethora of issues grace this era and every delegate must be quick on their feet while addressing them and keep their eyes peeled for the next assault by the other side.
Which side will you back? Will you turn the tables on history or follow the weather-beaten track? Will you mount the beacon of democracy or the iron fist of tradition atop the Washington Monument?
